Area, Stair and Band charts are used to compare trends over time or categories. These charts can use both bucketed and unbucketed category axis, and can be displayed in Clustered, Stacked and Percent modes. In Clustered mode these charts can handle negative values. Area and Stair charts also can be used to represent the trend of the contribution of each value to a total (Stacked), or the trend of the percentage each value contributes to a total (Stacked Percent).
